Therefore, endless pages will replace pages with smaller scrolling or so-called one-pages, reminiscent of the presentation, where the whole fits immediately on the screen, and for more you should reach for subpages.

Trends in web design: FUN TEXT AND COLOR

Minimalism does not have to mean boredom. A simple way to add a minimalist page of charm is to skilfully use text and colors. Boring pages in shades of gray are now replacing colorful pages. You can choose not only bold colors, but also play with a gradient. A very clear return of this trend can be seen, for example, in the new Instagram logo or the new Facebook function, which consists in publishing posts on the background in the form of a gradient.

An interesting solution can also be smoothed brutality, referring to trends from the 90s – combining seemingly incompatible colors, huge texts and photos.

A minimalistic page does not have to be flat at all. When choosing semi-flat design, we add a delicate three-dimensional side to the side through carefully selected lights and shadows.

Extremely interesting solution is typography – large, bold fonts are popular, but Google has composed a whole gallery of fonts that will look great on the site. First of all, let yourself go beyond the frame – the text does not have to be flat and boring. It can be huge, distorted, occupy the entire screen space, and letters and animations can be integrated into the letters. The text can be the main character of the site.

The best way to get the user interested and encourage them to stay on the site longer is to stimulate them. The user must have a feeling that the site is not a dead text, a list of information to review, only that you can do something with it. Already introducing the possibility to like, share or comment fragments of the site encourages interaction.

Keep in mind the “Call To Action” (CTA) buttons that increase the likelihood that visitors will be clear about what they can do on it and that they will. What does CTA mean? Most often it occurs in the form of underlined, highlighted text, sometimes an icon or graphic button. It is expressed in the form of a call to action arranged in such a form that the user knows exactly where he will land after clicking on it. Therefore, the website should be easy to use, not overloaded with content, should be legible and load quickly.
